Meet Noah.
Noah is from Rogersville, AL, aka “God’s Country”. Noah went to Lauderdale County High School and played every sport they offered. Growing up on the outskirts of the Shoals, Noah decided to stick around for college despite being an Auburn fan. This way in his free time he can go back home and help around the farm.
Florence has been home for Noah since 2015 when he started at UNA. Since then he has received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Exercise Science. Noah is currently working on his Ph.D. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in the Department of Kinesiology where he plans to graduate in 2024. For the past 3 years Noah has been working as a graduate assistant for UNA Recreation where he oversees fitness and facilities.
From high school sports, to college degrees, to career, Noah’s life has been surrounded by all things fitness. He is passionate about his health and others, and he has the knowledge, skills, and dedication to help everyone achieve their fitness goals.
As Noah is a lifelong student of exercise, his classes will always be challenging, motivating, and educational. Now we make no promises that you will walk away smarter, but you will definitely walk away (possibly shakily) stronger!

Why do you love the Shoals?
“Great question! Simply put, the shoals is home. Anytime a community feels like family, settle down and stay awhile.”
Where would we find you on the weekends?
“Hmm…. Lets dive in. The farm, the creek, the golf course, building fences, or school (hopefully not).”
What is one thing I would never guess about you?
“I am the retired CFO of a snake removal company called Rausch Reptile Removal. Will still catch and relocate your snakes for $40.”
